I have a button now! Thankees to Let-san for making it. ^^
Layout Made crappily by me, again. This layout here features Lawrence and Adrian from 'Boys Next Door' by Kaori Yuki and therefore that is who they are copyrighted to. It's a short story I liked, it can be read here. The background was a picture of a cityscape that I found here. This was inspired by listening to a variety of music but in particular, 'My Sacrifice' by Creed whose lyrics I partially used. The whole song is as follows:
Hello my friend we meet again
When you are with me
We've seen our share of ups and downs
When you are with me
I just want to say hello again I like the song and it seemed to fit, to me anyway, for the ending for that particular manga (no details so as to not have spoilers, should read if you want to know about it). Favorites Authors: Storm Constantine, Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman Book Series: Wraeththu and Dragonlance Mangaka(s): Yoko Matsushita, Kaori Yuki, Saki Hiwatari, You Higuri and Clamp. Anime/Manga: Yami no Matsuei, Please Save My Earth, Violinist of Hameln, Angel Sanctuary, Fruits Basket, X and Wish. Music: Anime/RPG, Classical, Rock, Alternative, Techno, some Jazz and whatever else I feel like listening to. RPGs: Suikoden and Final Fantasy series. Movie: Lord of the Rings Anime/Manga Characters: Kurosaki Hisoka (Yami no Matsuei), Katan, Rosiel (Angel Sanctuary), Yakushimaru Mikuro (Please Save My Earth), Kaine, Die (Kaine), Raiel (Violinist of Hameln), Naoe Nagi (Weiß Kreuz), Hisui, Kokuyou, Ryuki (Wish), Hatori (Fruits Basket) and Yue (Card Captor Sakura)... Video Game Characters: Luc, Gremio, McDohl (Suikoden), Cloud, Sephiroth (FF7) and Delita (FFT) Book Characters: Raistlin, Dalamar (Dragonlance) Calanthe, Panthera (Wraeththu), Remus Lupin, Sirius Black (Harry Potter), Daniel Cranton (Grigori) and Aragorn (Lord of the Rings) Pairings (previously, as I really like very few now): Tsuzuki/Hisoka (YnM), Raiel/Hamel (VoH), Kira/Alexiel (AS), Die/Kaine (Kaine), Kokuyou/Hisui (Wish), Gremio/Botchan (Suikoden), Luc/Sasarai (Suikoden II), Cal/Pell (Wraeththu), Touya/Yuki (CCS), Sirius/Remus (HP), Amiboshi/Suboshi (FY)... Saturday, December 25, 2004 Oh, and go here for some doujinshi scans. felt like forever @ 05:33 p.m. Saturday, December 25, 2004 Hmm. I've been very neglectful of my poor journal here. Sims 2 has been eating my brain, and is so much fun. I've started making a Harry Potter neighborhood which is quickly getting out of control. Merry Christmas everyone! felt like forever @ 05:31 p.m. Thursday, August 12, 2004 Whee. School starts next week and I still haven't done summer reading. XD felt like forever @ 04:52 p.m. Wednesday, August 4, 2004 Gah. Mom got my schedule for me today. All screwed up. Damn you school for not letting European History make. You. Suck. felt like forever @ 06:17 p.m. Thursday, July 22, 2004 The Advent Children speculation going on makes me want to scream sometimes. [/end random] felt like forever @ 05:40 p.m. Thursday, July 22, 2004 Whoop. I'm at Johns Hopkins right now. Been some of the longest twenty days of my life. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing. Anyway, I've been updating my livejournal more than here, for which I feel guilty about. It's juts that it's easier to update everything from there for the more mundane stuff. felt like forever @ 05:34 p.m. Friday, July 2, 2004 Whee, leaving for Baltimore tomorrow. Will be gone for five weeks; will try to update some from there. Man, I'm a little irritated since I'm going to be in the area when Otakon is, and I can't go. ;_; Oh well, I mostly just want to go because the concert is going to be L'Arc~en~Ciel. felt like forever @ 08:40 p.m. Thursday, July 1, 2004 So. Ripley's Game. Most. Painful. Movie. Experience. I've had in a long time. This was a BIG letdown, I'm just glad I haven't read the books. This was mainly a disappointment since I was expecting something on the level of The Talented Mr. Ripley. Definitely not. I mean, I know a few decades must have passed, but still. I completely lost interest within the first five minutes. I managed to make it through an hour before I started playing FreeCell then took my shower. There isn't anyone in this movie that I find believable as, well, anything. Malkovich's Ripley is just there, and might as well be a part of the scenery or a convenient plot device. The chick he's living with has nothing going for her aside from her looks, and serves little purpose. And then the "innocent" that Ripley gets to kill people is equally bland, his conflict portraying him as a moron at best. Really, I found nothing in this film remarkable. One of the songs really reminded me of Dead Can Dance. Okay, ranting done. If the rumors are true, I hope Malkovich does a better job as Voldemort than he did as Ripley. felt like forever @ 03:19 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2004 Summer has set in - hot and lazy. Hope everyone is doing well. felt like forever @ 01:02 a.m. Thursday, June 10, 2004 I meant to update this while I was in Canada, but then I realized that I don't know my password. It's saved on the computer, but other than that I can't really login, which is bad. Oh well, I'll have to find the original e-mail and change it at some point, but thus far I've been too lazy to do so. I had a great time. Anime North was fun and it was nice staying with Chou the rest of the time, though I wonder how much her family thinks I'm intruding and whatnot. They're nice people, but I always wonder how much I'm wanted around. Whee. Can't think of much else to say at the moment. Saw HP3, became addicted to Neil Gaiman and Terry Prachett, completed school term with all As, and some other stuff I'll probably remember later. felt like forever @ 11:02 a.m.
